365 days a year there is a need for qualified medical professionals. Whether you are a doctor, nurse, physicians assistant, or play a part in some other area of the medical field, we can find a place for you to be involved. By the day, week or month, this “winged hospital” required staffing both “onboard” and domestically. We will assist you in ‘plugging a hole” in the forever leaking dike of need. We encourage couple to participate. We can find a place for a spouse to serve on virtually every mission. Families with children of mature ages can also serve. On a case by case basis we will try to assist you in making this a “family plan donation”.
The scheduling of missions is at the determination of our medical panel. The aircraft and medical missions are planned well in advance, however one must understand that the world political climate and/or disaster relief requirements may take precedence. Everyone must adapt to the need and the situation. We will do all we can to accommodate requests and desires, though situational needs and the capacity of the aircraft will be the final determination of who goes. A resume is required of all applicants. The more we know about you the easier it is to make a determination of your qualifications.
If you understand these basic needs and requirements, and you are still interested in operating on the medical staff for Wings World Wide, please forward a resume which includes the following:
* Current practice; years of service, position, duties, vacation and leave policy, medical specialties, desires
* The area of the world you desire to serve
* The time of year you desire to serve
* Do you have a passport? Visas?
* How much notice do you need to depart for service?
* Five (5) references we may contact
* A picture of applicant taken within the last six months
* Other family members that would like to accompany you, by name age and experience in the area which they wish to serve
* Personal information: Name, age, date of birth, marital status, family size, medical history and needs.
